Return Policy

Unworn Orthotics, Socks, and Accessories

We offer a 30 day return period.

1. Product must be in new resaleable condition (unused). Product packaging must be undamaged. There will be a 15% restocking fee on each item returned (no restock fee on items returned for and exchange).

2. Worn or used items returned will be returned back to the customer plus shipping charges unless item is defective. On certain products the manufacturer offers a satisfaction guarantee, in this case the item is to be returned to the manufacturer, if item is returned to us after being worn a re-stock fee and a shipping charge to the manufacturer will be deducted from the return (only if item has the manufacturer satisfaction guarantee).

3. Refund is given on item only. Original shipping charges will not be refunded.

4. Shipping charges will be applied to items returned for an exchange.

Shoes and Workboots

1. Same policy as above. There will be a 15%  restock fee for shoes and boots, 25% for Orthopedic Shoes.

Please Note: Worn shoes and boots cannot be returned unless defective.

In certain circumstances, items may be drop shipped from the manufacturer. In the event of a drop shipment, please send all returns to the above address. Please do not send merchandise back to the manufacturer. Merchandise returned to the manufacturer will result in a $10.00 restocking fee.
Please be sure to insure your package to be returned, we are not responsible for packages lost or damaged being returned to us

Canceling an Order

Cancellation of an order, once the item has shipped, or refusal of a package will result in a $10.00 service charge plus re-stock fees. Orders may only be cancelled prior to shipment. Please contact a customer service representative at (818) 533-2332, or e-mail as customerservice@jimmytheshoedoctor.com, to assist you with canceling your order.

Warranty

All merchandise is warranted against manufacturers defects for 30 days, from date of receipt.

Shipping Policy

All of our merchandise is shipped via USPS. Please allow two business days for order processing and at least 5 to 7 business days for shipment of in-stock items; additional delivery time may be necessary for custom, special orders and backordered items.  Shipping charges are as follows:

Orders up to $50.00:   $6.45 shipping
Orders above $50.00:   FREE SHIPPING
(There is a $6.45 charge for items returned for exchange, $8.00 for shoes and boots)

Defective Merchandise

All merchandise thought to be defective must have a Return Authorization (R.A.) number.

Please contact us to explain the problem and we will determine whether an R.A. number should be issued.

If an R.A. number is issued, you should write it on the outside of the shipping carton when returning merchandise. Merchandise will be inspected and evaluated. If it is deemed defective, we will promptly replace or repair the product. You will be reimbursed for your shipping costs and will not be charged for shipment of replacement or repaired product. You cannot receive credit on defective merchandise, only replacement or repair.

If product is NOT deemed defective it will be returned to you. You will be responsible for the shipping costs in this case.
